According to a report by Lawsonmultimedia, a young man identified as Owura Kwame was tragically knocked to death on the night of December 31st, as many were preparing to usher in the year 2025.

The incident occurred in Esereso, located in the Bosomtwe Constituency of the Ashanti Region, while the man, identified as Owura Kwame, was crossing the road during the 31st Night crossover service.

Eyewitnesses confirm that the driver responsible for the hit-and-run fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the victim behind.

The report adds that locals, including those attending the Watch Night service, gathered in shock and sorrow to mourn the untimely death of the young man.
