Founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Nyaho Tamakloe, is of the view that if the NPP wants to come back to its traditional form, it will be imperative that the political party overhauls its leadership.

He has urged elders of the political party to call for an emergency meeting where the agenda will be to wipe off the current leadership.

He believes that it is imperative to put in place an interim management committee which will steer the affairs of the political party and lead it back to its place in Ghana’s politics.

Nyaho Tamakloe was speaking on Accra-based TV3 in an interview when he made this known.

“If they make the mistake of using these old executives, we shall end up having UNC, PFP mark my words,” he said.

Speaking on the committee to review the political party’s performance in the 2024 election, he said “I heard about that and I laughed. I know Mike Oquaye very well. The Gas have a saying that Saka. Saka used to be between Adabraka and Tudu where they have horses which cannot contest at the recourse anymore”.
