ORAL committee tours NDA office over land encroachment

.
The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee conducted a fact-finding visit to the Northern Development Authority (NDA) office in Cantonment on January 10 to investigate alleged land encroachment.

NDA staff raised concerns about the possible sale of parts of the 1.73-acre land after a fence was unexpectedly constructed by unknown individuals. Acting on a tip-off, the ORAL committee, led by Chairman Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, visited the site to gather information on the matter.

Ablakwa had earlier disclosed that the committee had collected substantial evidence of looted state assets by appointees from the previous administration. He indicated that this evidence would soon be presented to President John Dramani Mahama for further action.

ORAL is a strategic initiative aimed at addressing systemic corruption and financial mismanagement. By recovering misappropriated resources, the initiative seeks to enhance governance, restore public trust in state institutions, and create fiscal space for national development.

The members of the team include the following;

1. Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman

2. Mr Daniel Domelovo-Former Auditor-General

3. COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye

4. Mr Martin Kpebu-Private Legal Practitioner

5. Mr Raymond Archer-Investigative Journalist.
