Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has laid bare the contradictions in the actions of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government regarding the investigation of public sector corruption during his KSM show monitored by MyNewsGh.

Reflecting on the government’s earlier attempts to uncover mismanagement and corruption, Sintim-Misa highlighted the irony of bringing in foreign firms, such as Kroll Associates, to conduct investigations while Ghanaians who had the necessary expertise and passion were ignored.

He pointed out the questionable decision to pay a foreign company $1 million for a task that, in his view, could have been handled by local professionals without financial compensation.

He didn’t hold back in expressing his disappointment. “You complain about local Ghanaian experts helping recover our public funds for free, yet you paid $1 million to foreigners without clear results.

“Where did that money go? Who knows?” he questioned, criticizing the administration for what he described as a “shameful” lack of transparency and accountability.

Sintim-Misa also called out the arrogance of politicians who speak on constitutional matters without fully understanding the details of previous government decisions, including the approval of foreign firms for such significant tasks.

“You have the audacity to stand in Parliament and lecture us, but where were you when these decisions were being made?

“That’s the hypocrisy killing this nation,” he remarked, urging politicians to speak intelligently, especially when addressing the public.
