According to him, a Cavok flight arrived at Kotoka International Airport carrying equipment. The footage shows a cargo of oil drills and oil jerrycans imported into the country for specific purposes.
The minister emphasised that allegations of the flight carrying illicit drugs and cash for money laundering are untrue and should be disregarded by the public.
“This is actual footage of the inspection of the Cavok flight by security officials at Kotoka International Airport upon arrival, showing it carried a cargo of oil drills and oil in jerrycans. Don’t let anyone deceive you or shift the goalposts when pressed for evidence,” he wrote on X, alongside the video footage released on April 6, 2025.
This development follows Assin South Member of Parliament Reverend
Rev Fordjour has yet to provide public evidence substantiating his claims but promised to do so when meeting security agencies.
However, prominent government figures have warned the MP that he may face prosecution if he does not provide evidence supporting his claims of drug trafficking.
