The Police say they are investigating the matter.
Preliminary Police investigation revealed that the incident occurred as the Asantehene was returning from a funeral at Nkoranza in the Bono East Region when some youth believed to be from Techiman threw stones at some buses in the convoy, the Police said in a statement.
They say they are in touch with Manhyia Palace in Kumasi and other stakeholders at Techiman as part of the investigation.
We urge the public to remain calm and cooperate with the Police as the investigation into the matter continuesthe statement said.
