GAF denies allegations of ammunition transport in viral audio

In a press release issued on December 25, 2024, by the Department of Public Relations at the General Headquarters in Burma Camp, Accra, GAF assured the public that the claims in the audio recording are entirely false and should be disregarded.
The statement clarified that the vehicle in question was delivering a newly acquired live cow, which was being quarantined before relocation to the kraal adjacent to the Magazine.
GAF urged individuals and groups to verify information about security services before spreading falsehoods that can mislead the public. The statement stressed that such actions create unnecessary tension, fear, and panic, particularly during this period.
The Armed Forces reminded the public that their doors are always open for inquiries and encouraged individuals to contact the Department of Public Relations for accurate and reliable information.
GAF reiterated its unwavering commitment to protecting the nation’s stability and sovereignty and called on citizens to avoid actions, whether intentional or accidental, that could threaten the peace of the country.
