Don’t apologize for setting different standards – UDS lecturer tells Mahama
.
His call comes on the back of the minority leader’s call on the president to apologise to the people of Ghana in order to add more ministers.
“If I were to advise Mr. President, I would say, ‘Mr. President, you can apologize to Ghanaians and say, look, you underestimated the enormity of the task. I think I need to engage more ministers,’” Afenyo Markin suggested, underscoring the need for greater executive capacity to address pressing national issues.
But in a Facebook post, Michael Ayamga Adongo who works at the University of Development Studies suggested that the President should not sink to the level the former President went.
Michael Ayamga Adongo is of the view that the president must be a good example of a leader but sticking to his promises made to the people of Ghana.
“He doesn’t have to apologize to Ghanaians. He just has to be different from
Akufo Addo. Seriously alow bar,” he said in a post shared via social media.
