In a press release signed by Lily Fati Soale, Acting Chief Director for the Ministry of Information, the government clarified that the restriction applies to all drones, both recreational and commercial, as part of efforts to ensure the safety and security of visiting dignitaries, guests, and the general public.
The directive underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining a secure environment for the inauguration ceremony. The Ministry has called on all drone operators to adhere to the ban and comply with the security measures.
