The Minister of Government Communications-designate, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has pledged to perform his duties with the utmost honesty and openness.

Additionally, he committed that he would not use his position to disseminate false information or deceit.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu declared at his vetting on Friday, January 31 that he would carry out his responsibilities the truth.

The nominee informed the committee that he is a politician who is adamant about upholding their principles, which is why he constantly presents evidence-based arguments.

“I am a person of conviction and when I take positions, I consider them carefully and once I take them, unless I am shown verifiable evidence that I am wrong, I stick to them and often, it may rob off some people negatively or wrongly but to the extent that I know it is the right thing to do, I stick to it.

“And so I am not going to be an outlet for churning out misinformation or disinformation to deceive the people.”
