Stop calling me a fugitive – Ofori-Atta drags OSP to court again

.
Reports available to us indicate that Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has taken fresh legal action against the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), seeking to block the agency from labelling him a “wanted person” or “fugitive from justice.”

His legal team argues that the OSP violated due process by displaying his details on social media, despite assurances to the contrary in a February 18 letter.

Ofori-Atta demands the immediate removal of his name from the wanted list and a court order preventing its reinstatement without judicial approval.

He also seeks an injunction to stop the OSP from issuing further statements portraying him as a fugitive and wants all such references erased. His lawyers contend these actions infringe on his fundamental rights under the 1992 Constitution.

The case is set for hearing in April, marking a major standoff as Ofori-Atta fights to clear his name.
