President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa has informed the Inspector General of Police to clamp down on persons supposedly belonging to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who are harassing civil servants to vacate government residential properties at Roman Ridge.

This comes after a civil servant wrote to him to complain bitterly about the harassment of occupants of the buildings have had to suffer at the hands of supposedly NDC members.

Franklin Cudjoe made this known in a social media post, questioned the NDC’s control over its members, and urged them to desist from such uncivil actions.

He said “Dear NDC, this is from someone l deeply respect in the civil service! This is uncivil..Please desist. The lGP is hereby informed publicly. I did privately already”.

He used the opportunity to share the message he received from the civil servant which read “I’m reaching out to bring to your attention a pressing matter that requires immediate action. The situation is critical, and I urgently need your assistance. Supporters of the NDC have taken the law into their own hands, harassing civil servants to vacate government residential properties at Roman Ridge. To make matters worse, they’ve also halted renovation works on a property allocated to me, which has been ongoing since June 2023.


This blatant disregard for the law poses a significant threat to the safety and well-being of the civil servants and their families. As someone who values justice and the rule of law, I’m counting on your support to help us. I respectfully request that you use your contacts to get the attention of the Inspector General of Police. We need his urgent intervention to restore order and bring the perpetrators to justice.
