Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has shared his optimism about President John Dramani Mahama’s current approach to governance, emphasizing that the President appears determined to make the most of his second chance in office.

Cudjoe’s remarks follow Mahama’s recent decision to curtail unnecessary expenditures, such as contracting individuals or companies to print his portraits, a move widely regarded as a commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Additionally, Mahama has directed the Inspector General of Police to investigate electoral-related deaths from past elections, signalling his administration’s focus on justice and accountability.

Speaking in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Friday, January 10, 2025, Cudjoe stated, “What has changed now is that there is a man who has been given a second chance who doesn’t want to waste the second chance at all, and he’s started on the right note. I hope it continues really.”
