I will caucus with the NDC in 9th Parliament - Asante Akyem North MP-elect

According to GHOne TV, Kwame Frimpong said that he would be caucusing with the NDC, which is set to form the Majority Caucus in the 9th Parliament because of the needs of his constituents.
“As an independent MP, I will caucus with the NDC because my constituency needs development,” he is quoted to have said.
Kwame Frimpong snatched the Asante Akyem North seat from the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP)
for the constituency, Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi.
Ohene garnered a whopping 26,926 votes, beating the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP and candidate Andy Appiah-Kubi, who received 8,933 votes.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Kofi Asamoah, secured 2,469 votes.
Following the recent declaration and re-declaration of 7 parliamentary results in favour of the NPP, the party has now secured 89 out of the 276 seats in the 9th Parliament.
All other factors being equal, the NDC will now have 181 seats in the 9th Parliament while independent candidates hold 4 seats, with the remaining two seats yet to be declared by the EC.
