I’ll need your prayers to fix Ghana’s economy - Mahama to Chiefs, Imams

.
President-elect John Dramani Mahama has urged chiefs and imams across the country to continue to pray for him.

He is of the view that this is the time he and the entire country need their prayers most, considering the task ahead.

John Dramani Mahama was speaking to the Yagbonwura when he made this known.

"I have appealed that he and our chiefs and our imams should not stop praying. They should continue praying. This is the time we need the prayers the most so that we can look after Ghana.

"We all know our economy is in crisis, there is hardship in the land so that we can work hard to turn our fortunes around and create prosperity and dignity for all Ghana's people," he said.

He further indicated that he is praying that God gives him the sense of discernment to be able to choose the right people to govern with and create economic prosperity for the people of Ghana.
