Publish textbooks that will detail mismanagement of Akufo-Addo’s government – PPP executive

.
Divine Nkrumah, Director of Operations for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has recommended President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress government to produce a textbook detailing Akufo-Addo’s thieving and corrupt dealings with his gang of corrupt appointees.

He said that this would be an important document that will inform students from the basic to the highest level of the sins of this government.

He posited that the previous Nana Addo-led administration went on a mission to steal and rob the state resources for their selfish interests.

He noted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lied to Ghanaians that the then Mahama-led administration engaged in family and friends government and yet when they took over, the friends, family, and in-laws of the President and his Vice President were all appointed.

Divine Nkrumah lamented that the corrupt deals under President Akufo-Addo were excessive and must be captured in a book to serve as a reference for the next generation of Ghanaians.

He said the NPP under President Akufo-Addo nearly turned the Electricity Company of Ghana into their personal property.

“The level of corruption of Akufo-Addo and his gang of corrupt appointees was excessive, and so I am recommending to President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government to author a book and list all the sins of the Akufo-Addo and the corrupt deals as a test book for Junior School and basic school students so they will read and know exactly what Akufo-Addo did to Ghana.”

“The corruption we witnessed under Akufo-Addo was unprecedented. The corruption and scandals recorded, or what we saw, were alarming, and it was by divine intervention that they lost the elections,” he said in an interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM.

He also slammed the previous government for politicising independent institutions, including the Electoral Commission and the Judiciary.

He advised the nominated persons by President John Dramani Mahama not to repeat the terrible mistakes of those who worked in the previous administration.

He asked the president to remain firm and deal ruthlessly with any corrupt appointees of his.
