Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer for the Ghana Shippers Authority, Prof Ransford Gyampo has acknowledged the president for the position offered him.

He says there is no neutrality when one is tasked to serve his nations.

Ransford Gyampo adds that the president appointed him to right some wrongs and it’s a honor he won’t take for a joke..

“There can be no neutrality when one is tasked to help right what is wrong in the service of the NATION. Thank you Prez Mahama; and humbled by the many congratulatory texts. I’ll serve GHANA and remain the YAW GYAMPO that u all know💪”

Some leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) say they are not surprised that Gyampo has been appointed.

They are however, shocked by his posturing as a neutral Ghanaian in the eight years that they were in office.
